Divine Presence,
Source of all life, light, and love,
Meet me here, exactly where I am.
When I find myself sitting at the edge of uncertainty, looking out over waters I cannot yet cross, remind me that this moment is not the whole story.
When I am weary from what has been, help me lay down what I no longer need to carry. Let the waters receive my grief, my disappointment, my fear, and all the questions for which I still have no answers.
I do not have to know the entire way forward.
I only need enough light for the next step.
Teach me to trust the movement of life even when I cannot see the destination.
Awaken within me the courage to rise again. May the fire within me be rekindled. Not the fire of struggle or forcing, but the sacred flame of hope, purpose, creativity, and possibility.
If I cannot see how my life will unfold, remind me that unseen things are unfolding even now.
And when doubt whispers, “What if nothing changes?”
let my soul answer:
Something is already changing within me.
I am still here.
I am still becoming.
I am still guided.
I am still loved.
And there is more life ahead of me than I can presently see.
I place what I cannot control into Your hands.
I open my hands to what is coming.
I open my heart to possibility.
And I choose, once again, hope.
